and this is the last conditioner i’ve sampled to try out. i’ve not changed my washing rythm, but forgot to pulish the previous post.
in wet hair, it feels like the same as the moisturizing one, but it smells like roses.
washing was fine, but while drying everything felt lite very oily hair.
on the next day nearly everything was perfect. i could it comb easily, nearly no knots. why nearly? the bit too oily feeling didn’t go away and my hair is on some places stringy and had very “dry” places. try to fix this by adding some coconut oil also made it worse. so if i’m using this, i should not use any oil.
because of this, don’t used any oil for time of testing and tried it out some more times. after round #3 (had three samples) after washing the other “problem” was, that because of the oily feeling i had to wash my hair more often than normal.
conclusion of testing: the one for oily hair is definitily wrong for me, the proteine is a bit better and the moisturizing is nearly the thing i’m looking for. but only nearly.
- spring: black clothes
- summer: black clothes
- autumn: black clothes
- winter: black clothes
now i’ve tried the green tea finishing rinse from aubrey oragnics. the scent of the product is nearly the same but the lavender is missing. also the consistence is a bit more fluid. right after washing my hair was very smooth but since the product is for oily hair it might made it very dry.
at this point i’ve let my hair dried until i went to bed (and hair was dry) and tried to comb it the next day….
at the next day I tried to comb my hair. it was not easy because there were a higher amount of knots in it. the beginning and end of my hair felt dry, while the scalp has the feeling that there is some oil left and should be washed.
two days later my hair isn’t oily or something like this, but the ends are dry as a dessert and have lots more of knots. so i might say this conditioner isn’t the right one for me
after the usage of the conditioner i’ve tried to “track” the changes on my hair. basicly there was the effect that the ends of my hair felt more “dry” than normal times. also they feel and look more bad than usually (i’m missing about an objective scale/language to discribe this.. anyone?)
the combing was the first day after using the conditioner better then normal, but on the next day it was a great combastrophe. anyway the strange feeling of the hairs (like there is something in there) continues.
conclusion: i don’t think i’ll use conditioner again, because it look like that my hair don’t want/need that amout of proteine.
since my favourite conditioner isn’t manufactured anymore i made the decisions to evalute three more or less random choosed conditioner from aubrey organics.
basicly those conditioners divided into three categories: with protein, moisturizing and “oily”.
so today i’ve started with the gpb lavender / ylang ylang conditioner. after putting it on my hands it started to smell a bit interesting with a lavender aspect. since i’m male i don’t care that much about a specific, “sweet” scent, but it should be noticable.
some words about the conditioner itself compared to my old one is very viscous so i had to “premix” it in my hands first. also i don’t had a idea how much to put in my hair, so I used the whole package (10ml).
right after washing there was no difference compared to my old one.
now my hair dryed for about an hour, it’s a bit smoother.
what’s still to be evaluated: did i need protein or was this an temporary effect.
